The production of thermal insulation glass\u2014commonly known as double-pane glass\u2014and high-performance insulating glass units has been at the core of TDC Glass\u2019s business since 1999. In 2019, the acquisition of Lustic Invest SA in Cristian, Bra\u0219ov County, significantly increased production capacity. Today, the Bystronic line produces up to 400 units per shift, glass units up to 60 mm thick, including atypical shapes, in accordance with <\/p>

Double-pane insulated glass (2 panes)<\/h3>

The standard configuration for windows, doors, and facades. Two panes separated by a spacer filled with argon gas. The panes can be made of tempered glass, laminated glass, Low-E glass, or solar control glass, depending on the project specifications.

Approximate U-value with Low-E coating and argon: 1.1\u20131.0 W\/m\u00b2K.

Triple-pane insulated glass (3 panes)<\/h3>

A high-performance configuration for passive buildings and green-certified projects. Two independent argon-filled chambers. The panes can be made of tempered glass, laminated glass, Low-E glass, or solar control glass, depending on the project\u2019s energy requirements.

Approximate U-value with Low-E coating and argon: below 0.52 W\/m\u00b2K.
